Bristol's first fully vegan bottomless brunch is here

If you were to ask a large group of vegans what their favourite restaurant in Bristol is, Koocha would likely be a common answer.

The mezze bar has built up such a strong following for its Persian and Middle Eastern food, in fact, that many meat eaters also rank it among their favourite places to eat in the city.

In May the restaurant moved to a new-and-improved site on Cheltenham Road, allowing it to add more dishes to the menu - and now, having found its feet at its new home, it's launching bottomless brunch too.

From this weekend, diners will be able to choose from five plant-based brunch dishes including the big breakfast, shakshuka and spinach and egg muffins, washed down with unlimited prosecco for £20.

With first service on June 19, diners can also enjoy regular brunch without the constant stream of bubbly if they prefer.

It's likely to be popular, as the post announcing the arrival of bottomless brunch on the restaurant's Instagram page has had over 600 'likes' and more than 100 comments.

"We've had a crazy response to the bottomless brunch announcement which is great to see," said Koocha founder Noda Marvani.

"We've wanted to introduce brunch to our menu for a while, and with more kitchen and storage space on Cheltenham Road we can finally go for it.

"It adds something new to our offering and everyone loves bottomless brunch.

"We've already have quite a few bookings coming in and it'll be really nice to see the restaurant being used in the morning as well as in the afternoon and evening."

Noda said she doesn't know of any other restaurant in Bristol which offers a 100 per cent vegan brunch or bottomless brunch, with every component of each dish plant-based, including the poached or scrambled eggs.

A few of the brunch dishes have been served over the past few weeks as part of a soft launch and have received "really positive feedback," she added.

Koocha, which has a five-star rating on Tripadvisor from 220 reviews, will be serving brunch from 11am-5pm on weekdays and from 10am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Bottomless brunch will be available from 11am-1pm on weekdays and 10am-1pm at the weekend.
