A new housing development and multi-million-pound regeneration project in south Bristol has been completed.
Housebuilder Barratt Homes and Homes England have delivered and sold 150 two-to-four bedroom houses in Filwood Park, with most new residents moved in.
A park and community centre are also set to open in the coming months to serve the neighbourhood and surrounding area.
The site of the development was previously associated with a former school kitchen, an aircraft training centre and an engineering works.
Situated three miles south of Bristol city centre, the estate also includes a children’s play area as well as newly planted trees and meadow grass to encourage biodiversity.

Andrea Pilgrim, sales director at the Bristol division of Barratt Homes, said: "We are proud to have delivered much-needed new homes as part of this significant regeneration project at Filwood Park, which has supported many first-time buyers onto the property ladder.
“We look forward to the opening of the new community centre and park too, paving the way for a real sense of community to develop among residents and providing the opportunity for local people to enjoy a wonderful outdoor space.
“This development has been a hugely successful partnership project with Homes England and has had a significant positive impact on the local area, leaving a lasting legacy for future generations."
