Brilliant moment Bez dances down the aisle at his wedding

He's best known for his remarkable moves as the Happy Mondays' 'freaky dancer' and Bez pulled out some of his signature moves in church as he tied the knot with Firouzeh Razavi. Bez, whose real name is Mark Berry, couldn't resist breaking into a happy dance on his wedding day.

In joyous scenes, shared in a video clip by the official Twitter for Salford-formed band Happy Mondays, a beaming Bez and his bride danced along with the traditional hymn Oil in My Lamp, also known as Sing Hosanna. Guests were on their feet as they belted out the hym, while a small dog could be seen joining in the celebrations.

Maraca player Bez looked swish in a pristine white and his bride dazzled in a sparkling off-the-shoulder white gown with full skirt. Fans loved the 'happy vibes' from the video as they rushed to congratulate the happy couple.

Over on Bez's Instagram the 58-year-old Celebrity Gogglebox regular shared snaps from their special day. He delighted fans by revealing that he had arrived by horse-drawn carriage seated on an armchair.

Bez wrote: "It's official, Frou and I finally tied the knot. This is how I arrived, in style, with my horse drawn friends sat on 2 comfortable armchairs, with my best man Johnny to make an honest woman of now, Firouzeh Berry."

Angela Egan, his professional skating partner on this year's Dancing On Ice, remarked: "Of course you arrived in style!" s.p.a.c.e__c.o.w.b.o.y said: "Congratulations Mr & Mrs Bez." And lukejshort1978 said: "This is the way to arrive and turn up in style BEZBOY Congradulations to you both."

And Firouzeh posted a gorgeous photo of the new husband and wife, saying: "Wow! I just cannot believe a week has passed since we exchanged our vows of marriage. Time really does fly when you're having fun."

Last Sunday Bez's bandmate Rowetta said it was the 'best wedding ever' as she shared a beautiful snap of herself and Bez's proud mum at the ceremony in Herefordshire.

The Step On singer looked stunning in a midnight blue and gold embellished dress alongside the mother-of-the-groom who beamed in a pretty navy and pink floral dress with a cropped jacket and fascinator. "Me & Bez’s gorgeous mum yesterday at the best wedding ever," wrote Rowetta alongside the photo posted on her Instagram. She added: "Love you both so much @bezmondays & @firouzehsings.

At the end of last month the bride-to-be, a singer-songwriter and frontwoman of British melodic metal band Control the Storm, posted photos and video from her hen do. "Had THE BEST hen party last week thanks to these sexy ladies, love you all a party we definitely had," she wrote on her social media.

In January Happy Mondays 'freaky dancer' Bez swapped his famous maracas for ice skates as he competed on the ITV skating show Dancing On Ice. Bez, who shot to fame as a member of the Happy Mondays in the eighties, said about the show's so-called dreaded love 'curse' that he only had eyes for singer Firouzeh.

“At 57, I’ve lost the libido where you want to s*** everyone in the room. It’s a good thing… Firou’s got me at my best," he said. “I couldn’t be bothered with all the drama, I’m definitely getting older."

He was eliminated following a skate-off with Coronation Street icon Sally Dynevor and Matt Evers. Bez, the first ever contestant to wear a helmet on the show, promised to survive on the ice so that he could marry Firouzeh in September.

He popped the question in October after a picnic on top of the Skirrid, known as the 'Holy Mountain', in Wales. And he previously promised that he wouldn't be playing the maracas on the big day. “I’ll save them for the bedroom,” Bez joked.
