The Brighton Argus has joined forces with Hove MP Celia Barlow to demand action over the "menace" of mini-motorbikes. The paper says the city's residents are concerned by youths tearing around streets, often late at night, at speeds of up to 60mph. Off-road bikes do not have to be registered with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency, so the MP has backed a private members' bill which would require all off-road motorbikes to be registered.
