BRIEF: Zachary Quinto sells funky pad in Los Feliz for above asking

Nov. 14--Zachary Quinto, known for his role as Spock in the recent "Star Trek" movies, listed a home in Los Feliz for $1.165 million in September and sold it for $1,278,600.

The Midcentury Modern-style single-story, built in 1948, has a loft-like vibe with an open floor plan. The 1,505 square feet of space includes living room and dining areas, a den, three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

A patio with a fire pit sits outside the master bedroom.

Quinto, 37, was in the 2009 and 2013 "Star Trek" films and the series "Heroes" (2006-10) and "American Horror Story" (2011-13).

He will be in the upcoming movies "He'll Never Have Paris" and "The Girl Who Invented Kissing."

Quinto bought the property in 2008 for $865,000, property records show.

James Foreman of Sotheby's International Realty was the listing agent. Ninkey Dalton of the Agency represented the buyer.
