BRIEF: Woman missing from Northwest Side

Nov. 04--Police are asking for help in finding a 43-year-old woman who has been missing from the Montclare neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

Sonia Ofray, of the 2800 block of North Nagle Avenue, was last seen at 7 p.m. Tuesday, according to a news release from the Chicago Police Department.

Ofray, who is also known as Sonia Ofray Campos, has a diminished mental capacity, and she may not be able to find her way home, the release said.

She only speaks or understands Spanish, and she is known to frequent stores in the Brickyard Mall near the intersection of Narragansett and Diversey avenues, according to the release.

Her family members reside in west suburban Elmwood Park.

Ofray is 5-foot-6 and weighs 150 pounds. She has brown eyes, black hair and a medium complexion, the release said. She also has a deformed right ear.

She was last seen wearing a red T-shirt and light blue jeans.
