Oct. 29--A woman was attacked while walking on a popular trail in Villa Park, according to police.
She was walking alone on the Great Western Trail between Harvard and Westmore avenues around 7:40 a.m Wednesday when a man came from behind and struck her, police said. Her injuries were minor, and nothing was stolen.
The man was described as white with blond hair, 5-foot-8, and 21 to 25 years old.
