April 25--LeBron James put on a little show after the Cleveland Cavaliers' basketball practice Saturday in Boston, making a full-court shot with a one-handed toss that resembled a quarterback flinging a deep pass.
James is about to take the shot when a teammate -- it appears to be James Jones, but no confirmation on that -- interrupts him. James gathers himself, steps across the baseline and takes one stride like a quarterback unleashing a pass.
The video that James' longtime trainer, Mike Mancias, posted on Instagram shows the ball, always in frame, swishing through the basket at the other end of the court.
The YouTube clip above also has an angle of the shot from the baseline opposite James. No word on who shot that one.
James and the Cavaliers will try to close out a sweep of their first-round playoff series against the Celtics on Sunday at TD Garden. Game time is 10 a.m. PDT.
