March 24--The negotiations between AT and Univision over distribution appear to be progressing as UniMas and Galavision, networks under Univision's portfolio, were restored Thursday to AT U-verse customers.
Talks between Univision and AT have yielded a series of extensions.
Univision stations and networks were removed on March 4 from AT's U-Verse pay-TV system, which serves about 6 million homes nationwide. But soon after the blackout, the media companies agreed to restore service for the flagship Univision network to allow its viewers to watch the Univision-hosted Democratic debate.
Univision's other networks -- including UniMas and Galavision -- were not covered by that agreement, nor by any of the extensions worked out between the companies, and had remained off the air until Thursday.
