Jan. 08--A three-car crash resulted in injuries and a lane closure on the Stevenson Expressway early Thursday, police said.
The three vehicles collided around 6 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Interstate 55 south of Harlem Avenue, southwest of Chicago, according to the Illinois State Police.
Injuries as a result of the crash were reported, but it wasn't immediately known how many people were hurt or the extent of their injuries, said State Trooper Ark Wozniak.
The right northbound lane was shut down in the area as a result of the accident while crews cleaned up, Wozniak said.
