BRIEF: Robber orders pizza, then cleans out register

June 10--After ordering pizza at a Logan Square Domino's, a man pulled out a gun instead of a wallet and stole more than $100 from the place, according to police.

The robber, carrying a dark-colored backpack, entered the Domino's in the 2400 block of West Fullerton Avenue around 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

He ordered a pizza and, when told how much it would cost, pulled a black handgun from his pants pocket, slid a bullet into the chamber and announced a robbery, according to a police report.

The worker opened the cash register and the robber scooped out the cash and ran out of the restaurant, police said.

The suspect was described as black, in his early 20s, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9, 150 to 170 pounds, brown eyes and black hair. He was wearing a a gray baseball cap, white T-shirt and dark-colored jeans, according to the police report.

No one was reported in custody Wednesday, but police said a security video captured the robbery.
