BRIEF: Report: Bulls to face Thunder on Christmas Day

Aug. 10--For the sixth straight season, the Bulls will play on the NBA's biggest stage other than the NBA Finals.

According to a report in The Oklahoman, the Bulls will face the Thunder in Oklahoma City on Christmas Day. The Bulls have gone 3-2 over the last five seasons in Christmas Day games, which is the NBA's big showpiece.

The game would pit Derrick Rose against training partner Russell Westbrook and also mark two coaches transitioning from college to the NBA in Fred Hoiberg and Billy Donovan. Joakim Noah won two NCAA titles playing for Donovan at Florida.

The full NBA schedule is expected to be released this week, possibly on Tuesday.
