March 31--Northwestern freshman guard Johnnie Vassar, who appeared in 18 games this season, is transferring, Wildcats coach Chris Collins announced Monday.
"Johnnie let us know that he has chosen to pursue another university to continue his career," Collins said in a statement. "We support his decision and enjoyed having him as a member of the program this season. He is a talented player with a bright future and we wish him nothing but the best in everything he does going forward."
