July 13--A motorcyclist died Monday after crashing into a median near the Edens Expressway spur near Deerfield, officials said.
The motorcycle veered left into a median wall, according to Illinois State Police. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:30 p.m., said Illinois State Police spokesman Paul Carlos.
Westbound lanes were closed for about a half-hour, Carlos said. The crash was under investigation.
