BRIEF: Metra trains stopped in Aurora because of suspicious package

Nov. 26--Metra trains headed to and from Aurora on the BNSF line were stopped Tuesday evening as Aurora police dealt with a suspicious package.

Police asked trains to be stopped about 4:45 p.m. to deal with the package, a Metra spokesman said.

As of 5:20 p.m., Metra expected service on the BNSF line to be delayed until after 6 p.m.
