Oct. 28--A train on the Burlington Northern Santa Fe line hit a car in Hinsdale on Wednesday morning, but there were no reports of injuries, authorities said.
It happened around 6:45 a.m. at the Garfield Avenue crossing, and trains were moving again in both directions after being stopped for about 30 minutes, according to Metra spokesman Tom Miller.
A car was clipped and no one was injured, according to authorities.
