BRIEF: Man stabbed to death in West Pullman

Nov. 29--A 28-year-old man was fatally stabbed in the West Pullman neighborhood late Saturday night, police said.

He was arguing with a female acquaintance in an apartment in the 11500 block of South Perry Avenue when she stabbed him in the chest and fled the scene, said Officer Hector Alfaro, a Chicago police spokesman.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center and pronounced dead.

Police did not immediately have information on the nature of the relationship between the man and the woman who evidently stabbed him, and she is not in custody.
