BRIEF: Keith Richards visits Chicago in new documentary

Sept. 17--Keith Richards' search for his inspirations and influences lead him to Chicago and a legendary blues home on the South Side.

The Rolling Stones guitarist can be seen visiting the late Muddy Waters' former North Kenwood home in a trailer for "Keith Richards: Under the Influence," which premieres Friday on Netflix.

"Muddy Waters house, it was a lot more vibrant," Richards says in the trailer. "It was rocking when I got here. I remember that. It's leaving I don't remember."

Waters died in 1983 in Westmont and the North Kenwood home has faced an uncertain future. Richards also visited Nashville and New York for the documentary, according to a Netflix press release.

Richards, who is releasing his solo album "Crosseyed Heart" on Friday, said this week that the Rolling Stones have "definite plans" to record next year.
