BRIEF: James Taylor slated to play Wrigley Field in June with Jackson Browne

Nov. 12--Grammy-winning singer-songwriter James Taylor will play Wrigley Field in June with special guest Jackson Browne, the Cubs and Live Nation announced Thursday.

Tickets are scheduled to go on sale for the June 30 concert via livenation.com and cubs.com at 10 a.m., Nov. 20.

The announcement follows a busy concert summer for Wrigley. Foo Fighters and Billy Joel played in August while the Zac Brown Band and AC/DC performed in September.

Taylor, 67, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000.

Browne, also 67, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.
