BRIEF: Illini pick up Auburn transfer

Feb. 25--Illinois will add an Auburn transfer to its roster.

Defensive lineman Gimel President will be eligible to play immediately as a graduate transfer, according to 247sports.com. He is graduating from Auburn in May.

President played in 25 games through three seasons with 10 starts and 45 total tackles. He announced his plans to transfer earlier in February.
