Jan. 18--One man was shot and another person was left severely beaten after an apparent fight early Sunday at a hotel in west suburban Bedford Park.
Shortly after 1 a.m., Bedford Park officers responded to a call reporting a fight at the Residence Inn Hotel, 6638 S. Cicero Ave., according to a news release from the department.
When police arrived, they were directed to a hotel room on the third floor where they found a man who was shot in his lower leg, and another victim who was severely beaten, the release said.
Both victims, whose ages were not available, were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with non-life threatening injuries, said police.
A handgun was recovered at the scene, and four people were being questioned by police about the circumstances leading up to the attack.
