March 23--The city is kicking off its free Millennium Park film series with a Chicago classic.
"Ferris Bueller's Day Off," John Hughes' 1986 movie about a suburban teenager's day trip to the city, is set to be screened at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion June 21. Movies are scheduled to be shown on a 40-foot screen in the park at 6:30 p.m. every Tuesday after that through Aug. 30.
Seating at the pavilion is first-come, first-served. Here is the schedule, announced Wednesday:
