Ex-Bear Kelvin Hayden, Taraji P. Henson a Super (Bowl) couple?

Feb. 09--Kelvin Hayden once had a pick-six in a Super Bowl, but he might have had the catch of the day on Sunday: Taraji P. Henson. In fact, the former Bears and Colts cornerback was photographed throughout the weekend with Henson, better known as Cookie Lyons from "Empire."

In a few photographs circulating through social media, Hayden and the Golden Globes winner were watching Super Bowl 50 from a Levi's Stadium suite, along with other guests.

"Empire" is primarily filmed in Chicago. Hayden is a native of Englewood and played for the Bears in 2012. The team brought him back in 2014 but released him early in the season. As a Colt, Hayden intercepted Rex Grossman's pass and returned it 56 yards for a touchdown to salt away Super Bowl XLI in 2007.

Late last year, a photo surfaced showing the ex-NFL player holding hands with Henson while walking on a beach in Miami, but the actress played coy when asked about it by Wendy Williams during a New Year's TV special.

"I have no idea," she said. "Yeah, you can't believe everything you read. Until you hear it from me, it's false."

But this weekend, Henson appeared on the NFL Honors red carpet with Hayden.

Hayden also mingled with other celebrities at the game, including singer Alicia Keys and actor Don Cheadle, who showed up in a Peyton Manning Broncos shirt.
