Oct. 27--"Cloud Atlas" author David Mitchell will discuss his new book, a haunted house thriller, with Chicago filmmaker Lana Wachowski next month at the Music Box Theatre, theater representatives announced Tuesday.
Mitchell will sign "Slade House," which was released Tuesday, following the Nov. 8 discussion at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $30, which include a copy of the book. Two tickets and one copy of the book cost $45.
Wachowski co-directed the "Cloud Atlas" movie, which stars Tom Hanks and Halle Berry. Wachowski's show "Sense8," which was filmed in part in Chicago, was recently renewed for a second season on Netflix.
