Jan. 12--Even when she's about to cry, Chrissy Teigen is usually good for a laugh.
The supermodel traded her pretty face for what's now known as the "Chrissy Teigen cry face" after she was moved near tears Sunday night during husband John Legend's acceptance speech. (He and Common took home the original song trophy for "Glory," from "Selma.")
Looks as if Claire Danes has some cry-face competition this awards season.
Folks on social media wasted no time before beginning to caption a screen grab of that moment with snarky scenarios that might cause a face to look like hers.
"Sorry I don't practice my cry face okay," she soon tweeted. "It's been 5 minutes and I'm a meme."
The never-shy swimsuit model later Instagrammed a backstage shot of herself and Legend making fun of her pained expression.
She also got serious, posting a shot of her smooching her man and writing, "I have never been so proud in my life."
The two do appear to have fun together.
