March 31--The cast of "Chicago Justice" has been giving fans a sneak peek at the new NBC legal drama on social media as filming begins in the city.
"Ready for my first day on #chicagojustice," Nazneen Contractor posted on Instagram Monday with a selfie from her trailer. Contractor, who starred on NBC's "Heroes Reborn," plays an assistant state's attorney, according to Deadline.
"Chicago Justice" is the fourth installment in Dick Wolf's Chicago-set franchise for NBC. Philip Winchester (Sky1's "Strike Back") plays the lead prosecutor. Carl Weathers ("Rocky" movies) and Joelle Carter ("Justified") also star.
The cast of "Chicago Justice" is expected to be introduced in a "Chicago P.D." episode scheduled to air May 11.
"Chicago Fire," the first in the franchise, began airing in October 2012. "Chicago P.D." followed in 2014 and "Chicago Med" premiered in November. The shows are filmed in Chicago.
