BRIEF: Boys hospitalized after being struck by vehicle in Humboldt Park

April 26--A person was in custody after striking two boys with a vehicle in the Humboldt Park neighborhood Sunday morning, police said.

At about 11 a.m. near Pulaski Road and Division Street, the boys, 6 and 7, were struck by a vehicle, police said.

The boys had non-life threatening injuries, possibly broken bones and were taken to Stroger Hospital, police said.

The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and was taken into custody for questioning and charges were pending, police said.

No other details were immediately available.
