Nov. 24--Jay Cutler pulled a navy and orange Bears cap down on his head, turned around from his locker stall and faced a horde of media at his locker room stall Tuesday afternoon. It was only about 25 hours after his wife, Kristin Cavallari, gave birth to their third child -- daughter Saylor James.
The Bears are cramming for Thursday night's game against the Green Bay Packers on short rest, but Cutler indicated he's managing his time OK.
"Luckily, Kristin has done about 99 percent of it," he said. "My one percent I don't think is really going to drag me down that much."
Cutler did appreciate his daughter's good timing, arriving in the three-day window between Sunday's loss to the Denver Broncos and Thursday's game.
"It could have been worse," he said with a smile. "She cooperated a little bit for us."
