Sept. 30--Even if you've never been to Carnivale, you've likely been blinded by the circus colors of its facade from its perch on Fulton Street above I-94. (We tease. It's a fun sight.)
The Latin-fusion restaurant celebrates a milestone 10 years in business tonight with a dinner just as colorful as that mural, featuring live music, Latin dancers, acrobats and aerialists -- who should be able to do some pretty impressive stunts considering the dining room's sky-high ceiling and wraparound balconies.
The full menu will be available a la carte, including the drink the restaurant has become known for: a cotton candy martini made with vodka, cointreau, pomegranate, lime and a towering heap of the spun sugar. 5:30-11 p.m. Reservations required. 702 W. Fulton St., 312-850-5005, carnivalechicago.com.
