April 04--Two women were critically injured when their car rolled over early Monday on the Near West Side, police said.
Fire and police crews responded to the 1100 block of West Madison Street about 3:50 a.m. and found the car flipped over on the sidewalk and two women, 29 and 27, inside, authorities said.
A chunk of the concrete median had been sheared off, and the car had knocked over a parking meter pay box, authorities said.
Both women were taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.
