April 24--One person was injured in a fire in the Austin neighborhood Sunday afternoon, according to fire officials.
One person was taken to West Suburban Medical Center following the fire in a single-family home in the 100 block of North Menard Avenue, according to the Chicago Fire Department's official Twitter account.
The fire spread to another single-family home next door, according to the department.
The fire was under control by about 4 p.m.
