Bridge Street subway station has not opened this morning due to a police incident that occurred last night.
The inner and outer circles are running as normal and other stations are open but service will not stop at the station.
No members of the public are permitted into the station.
There is no indication when the subway station will reopen.
Subway bosses wrote on Twitter: "Bridge Street Station will not open this morning due to a police incident overnight.
"Both inner&outer circles are running & all other stations are open. Services will not stop at Bridge Street & the public will not be able to access. Nearest station is St Enoch."
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
