A fuel spill following a crash closed a busy bridge for hours.
At around 5.55pm on Tuesday, July 13, police were called to reports of a crash at the junction of Mersey Gateway and Daresbury Expressway in Runcorn. Officers attended and found the crash involved a navy blue Mercedes A250.
Police said there were no reports of any injuries following the crash. However a "small amount of fuel" was left on the carriageway, so the junction was closed for around four hours while the spillage was safely removed.
