Weddings are expensive - and they seem to increase in price year on year.
Whether you're having a small, intimate gathering or a huge, open celebration, the costs quickly add up.
Trying to stay on budget, one bride-to-be has been searching for a photographer who will meet all her demands for a $600 paycheck.
The woman has been condemned for trying to make a professional work for 1990s prices in 2022.
The advertisement, shared on Reddit, reads: "I've sheared this for a month and did not find what I was looking for, someone help me.

"VIDEOGRAPHER OR PHOTOGRAPHER for three to four hours who:
"Will not charge me a fee to post my videos/pictures on social media or require me to tag them in EVERY TIME I post them.
"Does not require total payment before the wedding date. I can pay a deposit, but I will be comfortable paying the balance once I see you show up. After all, I still have to trust you to produce a video, at least assure me you are real and ready to work.
"Can work with my budget of $600. If you charge a travel fee, service fee and added taxes which will put my final payment at $800, you are over my budget.
"Has some experience. If you only have two videos to display your work, you are too inexperienced to do my wedding.
"I'm hoping that someone meets this criteria. Thanks for your help!"
While most users agreed her requirements were reasonable, others expressed their shock at expecting such a service for as little as $600.
One user said: "I am more confused by whether she wants a videographer or a photographer.
"A single person cannot do both at the same time and equally important is these are very different skill sets.
"The fact she doesn't even understand what she wants means this 'gig' will be a nightmare for anyone who takes it at any price.
"And because she doesn't know what she wants, she will likely refuse to pay in the end."
Another user added; "What a nightmare waiting to happen. I think she wants a photographer and a videographer. She will get neither for $600.
"Most wedding photographers I’ve dealt with charge a rate to appear and shoot the wedding and then you buy the photos.
"Sometimes they throw in a certain package of photos in the first cost, say one 8x10, four 5x7s, eight 4x6s. But you buy the fancy albums and most photos afterward. You also have to pay extra to get all the images.
"She’s not going to pay. You can tell she’s talked to some photographers already because she knew about the potential travel fee."
Speaking from experience, one user said: "My father is a wedding photographer, and a good one at that. He charges anywhere from £1,100 to £2,500, depending on circumstances.
"You will not find a decent photographer for that price."
Another added said: "That’s how much my wedding photographer charged… in 1994."
