A bride has threatened to dump her friends if they miss her wedding over coronavirus fears.
The anonymous fiancée told her guests they would be 'dead to her' if they failed to show up.
In her Facebook post, which was shared in the 'wedding shaming' forum on Reddit, the American woman insisted 'paranoia' over coronavirus would not ruin her big day.
She wrote: "I'm getting married in 37 days!!! I spent 15 months planning.
"I've spent thousands of dollars. I've been working out, budgeting, dodging family politics land mines, chased rsvps, tried my hand and (sic) both electrical and wood work.

"(I've) personalized gifts, answered a million emails aaaand drank lots of wine in the bathtub so I felt justified in reminding my guests that I don't care.
"If you miss my wedding because of Cronovirus (sic) paranoia you are dead to me."
Only one reply was visible in the screenshot of the post.
It says: "I hope he leaves you for a nicer girl in less than a year. XO!"
Some Reddit users blasted the woman, calling her a 'self-centred a****e'.
TeaZRehab wrote: "I would be mad too, but damn think about other people than yourself woman."
Another person said: "I'm getting married on March 28th and it will totally suck if some of our friends and family can't make it because of Coronavirus BUT we understand that peoples health has to come first.
"And hey, we would much rather our friends and family survive to celebrate with us when we're married, than risk getting poorly and not being here to congratulate us on our first wedding anniversary."
Jah0217 described the bride as 'selfish', adding: "Sorry about your wedding but I wouldn’t risk my family’s health. Deal with it."

However there were also many users who sympathised with the bride.
Megs8786 wrote: "My cousin is getting married next Friday and so far the wedding is still on and I am going bc I RSVPd but I will not be kissing or hugging anyone hello. That may make me sound paranoid but I am being careful.
"Not going to lie I would be kind of mad too.
Jasperatu added: "I’m pretty sure she’s just expressing her frustration with the situation rather than being serious.
"I’m sure a lot of brides-to-be can sympathise with putting in time and money, and then dealing with the disappointment that your loved ones won’t show, and that it’s out of your control.
"Posting this to a wedding group rather than her personal page where all her guests will see it makes it seem more lighthearted."
Another bride said she felt the same way as the author of the Facebook post, describing the prospect of her wedding, which is in less than 30 days, being cancelled as 'devastating'.
She added that the venue for her ceremony had introduced 'sanitising stations' as a precaution.
