Theresa May is meeting trade union leaders for talks in her latest desperate bid for backing on her Brexit deal.
The Prime Minister met with TUC general secretary Frances O'Grady, Len McCluskey of Unite, Dave Prentis of Unison and Tim Roache of the GMB in separate meetings in Whitehall.
It comes as research found the likelihood of a second referendum has "risen sharply".
The Economist Intelligence Unit, a forecasting group, put the probability of another poll at 50 per cent, up from 30 per cent in a similar analysis less than a fortnight ago.
