Theres May scrapped plans to publish her Withdrawal Agreement Bill on Friday after a furious backlash from Cabinet Ministers.

The PM is meeting members of her top team in No10 before a hasty rewrite of the latest Brexit plan.

Plans for MPs to stage the crunch second reading vote on Friday, June 7 are in hold because the Commons is not currently due to sit.

The Government must agree with Opposition whips for the date to be pencilled in, paving the way for a vote.MPs would have to agree by backing a Business of the House motion on Tuesday, June 3.

Theresa May announced significant concessions on Tuesday in a last-ditch attempt to get her beleaguered deal through the Commons. 

But moving towards a second referendum and some form of customs union significantly angered Brexiteers and led the Leader of the House to quit her post.

Standing in for the recently departed Andrea Leadsom, Government Whip Mark Spencer revealed the government would not be publishing the bill on Friday.
