Brentford boss Thomas Frank has congratulated Leeds United and Marcelo Bielsa after they were named Championship winners on Saturday.
The Whites secured promotion to the Premier League on Friday night after West Brom's defeat to Huddersfield Town, prompting wild celebrations across the city.
The club were then confirmed as title winners on Saturday after Brentford lost 1-0 at Stoke City.
It means Leeds can expect a guard of honour from Derby County on Sunday at Pride Park.
Despite their own tussle for automatic promotion, Frank interrupted his own post-match interview to issue a congratulatory message to Leeds.
"I need to say congratulations to Leeds, to Bielsa, his staff and the players," Frank told Sky Sports.
"It's a good job they have done, they came to the club two years ago, they were contenders last year, they won the league this year.
"I'm only a fan of one club in England, that's Brentford but I like the stories of big clubs like Liverpool winning their first championship in 30 years.
"Now Leeds are back, so congratulations to them."
Brentford's defeat at Stoke means West Brom remain in second place, heading into the final day of the Championship season.
The Baggies hold a slender one-point advantage but an inferior goal difference, meaning they must match Brentford's result on the final day of the season for automatic promotion.
