'Breath of fresh air!' - Leeds United fans hail new coaching trio after Manchester United draw

Leeds United supporters have hailed their new coaching trio after their side found a big away point against Premier League high-flyers Manchester United at Old Trafford.

It took the Whites just 57 seconds to take the lead as a lovely one-two pass between Willy Gnonto and Patrick Bamford set up the young Italian to rifle it home into the bottom-corner past David de Gea from outside the box.

Leeds then got away on a quick start in the second half as Crysencio Summerville's run and cross was turned in by Raphael Varane into his own net after 48 minutes.

However, United's comeback began when man of the hour Marcus Rashford leapt over Robin Koch to bury a header from 12 yards out thanks to a cross from Diogo Dalot.

Just eight minutes later, Jadon Sancho found the back of the net after squeezing his shot through a sea of bodies which Meslier saw too late, unable to get a hand to it.

One fan wrote: "There it is! I'll take the point!", while another said: "Sets up Sunday very nicely. Huge confidence boost and very good overall team performance".

Another said: "Skubala is a breath of fresh air! I wish him and his team, and the lads, a great game on Sunday. One point I’d like to stress, Willy is a God!!!!", while one more wrote: "Great start to the run of four big games for us".
