Bradley Walsh throws The Chase contestant off the set after hilarious tantrum

Bradley Walsh had TV viewers in stitches on Friday night after he was forced to pull a celebrity guest off the set of The Chase.

The popular presenter was hosting the iconic quiz show in an episode from 2017 that had been re-aired this week at 5pm.

Filmed as a celebrity special, Walsh had been joined by guests such as Lucy Porter and Jay Rayner taking on the incredible Chaser known as the Governess.

However, the show didn't quite go to plan when Lucy made a few errors which led the host to throw a hilarious tantrum, reports Birmingham Live.

After a series of mistakes, Bradley told the actress how she was "ruining my show", and even dragged her off the stage for a refresher on the rules.

During one question, Lucy had become so excited that she clicked her buzzer before her host had completed the multiple choice answers, leaving him quite unhappy.

Bradley asked: “Did you press that button?

“I tell you something now...

“I don’t care how much you love him more than me, you cannot press the button until I’ve finished reading the question!”

“Don’t come and try and run the show, we are going to fall out my dear,” the host continued, and the audience were in hysterics.

“I’m the one who says what you put, you don’t press the button before I have finished the question."

Bradley asked: "Picasso at the Lapin Agile' is an award winning play by which actor comedian?"

Lucy opted for B) Steve Martin, saying: "It is the only man I love more than you."

Lucy said: "I have gone with Steve Martin."

"I say what you put! I say what you put! Do not come and try and run this show," Bradley said, dragging her away from the podium.

Jay Rayner, Steve Davies and Krishnan Guru-Murthy were also on the show.

Viewers were left delighted after the team managed to get past Anne Hegerty, who goes by the nickname of the Governess, during the Final Chase of the episode, securing a massive £150k plus jackpot.

ITV The Chase continues to air each and every weekday from 5pm on ITV 1 and also the ITV Hub with episodes also available to catch up with afterwards.
