The boys were also threatened with a gun and one of them was punched in the face before both his mobile phone and bicycle were stolen.

Police confirmed a 17-year-old boy has been arrested and remained in custody.

A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "An imitation firearm and the bike were recovered by the parent of one of the boys. Police seized the stolen mobile phone.
