A 15-year-old boy was airlifted to hospital following a crash between a bicycle and car in Oldham. Emergency services rushed to the scene of the incident on Nugget Street in the Glodwick area at around 5.25pm yesterday (Wednesday).

A section of the road was cordoned off by police officers as an air ambulance landed nearby. A spokesperson for the ambulance service confirmed today (Thursday) that a 15-year-old boy was airlifted to hospital from the scene.

Police said his injuries are 'not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing'. It has not been confirmed whether any arrests were made.
