Boy, 11, hospitalised after being found unconscious on Lockleaze cycle path

An 11-year-old has been found unconscious on a Lockleaze cycle path.

The boy was found on the path near Muller Road at around 6.50pm on August 13.

Police say he did not sustain any significant injuries and enquiries remain ongoing to determine what happened to him.

An Avon and Somerset Constabulary spokesman said: "At 6.50pm last night the ambulance service informed us a boy had been found unconscious on a path near Muller Road.

"The boy is not believed to have sustained any significant injuries and enquiries are ongoing to determine the circumstances which led to him being taken to hospital."

The incident followed two assaults on the same cycle path earlier in the evening.

The force said it is not currently linking the incidents.
