Borussia Dortmund are set to double Erling Haaland's wage packet in a move to see him stay with the Bundesliga side until 2023 - according to reports.
The 21-year old has emerged as one of the hottest properties in Europe over the last 18 months.
During that time, the Norway sensation has put together a staggering goals return for Dortmund - 68 in 67 games, with 11 strikes to his name already this season.
Haaland has also found the net 12 times in 15 international outings.
Speculation over his future hit fever pitch before the summer window as representatives of Haaland, including his super agent Mino Raiola, were spotted in Spain amid proposed transfer talks with La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid.
It's thought they were followed up by similar discussions at four Premier League clubs.
Manchester United continue to be linked with the prolific frontman - while Dortmund are currently bound by the near-€70million release clause that is set to activate at some stage this campaign.
However, according to Christian Falk from German publication Bild - as per an article from the Express - Dortmund want to raise his annual salary from €8million (£6.8m) to €15million (£12.7m).
But will that prove enough to ward off interest from Old Trafford and beyond in the short-term?
Elsewhere, reports suggest United and Flamengo have already agreed a fee over the permanent transfer of Brazil playmaker Andres Pereira.
Having been sent on-loan to the Serie A side this summer, the 25-year-old has already made an impression with a couple of goals to show from his first eight appearances.
Pereira made his way through the famed Old Trafford academy and has played 75 times for the club, scoring four goals and providing five assists for his teammates.
The one-cap international spent last season on loan in the Italian capital with Lazio.
When his switch to Flamengo went through, it was initially thought that the Brazilian outfit would have to splash out around €15million at the end of the campaign to secure his services on a permanent basis.
However, as per UOL, that figure is closer to €20million and could be triggered in June when his loan deal expires.
