Borussia Dortmund preparing for Jadon Sancho to seal Manchester United transfer

Borussia Dortmund are drawing up plans should Jadon Sancho leave for Manchester United this summer.

Sancho is top of United's wanted list this summer but the clubs remain some way apart on transfer fee.

The clubs are set for a stand-off with Dortmund adamant they want at least £100million, while the Old Trafford hierarchy are reluctant to spend above £60-70m on any single target.

Sancho has reportedly already agreed personal terms with United, meaning the transfer will likely go through swiftly if a fee can be struck which suits all parties.

And Dortmund have already earmarked a couple of possible replacements should Sancho depart, though the Bundesliga club are keen the Sancho saga is not drawn out across the entire summer transfer window.

"If Jadon were to leave, we would once again be active in strengthening our attack," sports director Michael Zorc told Kicker.

"There are certainly one or two players we have our sights on."

Reports in Germany suggest United have been set an August 10 deadline by Dortmund.
