Bookies slash odds on UK’s ‘hottest spring ever' - but will the good weather hit Glasgow?

The Met Office is predicting higher than average temperatures across the UK this spring - and if the bookies odds are anything to go by then some of the UK could be in for an April heatwave.

“There will probably be a good deal of dry and sunny weather on Sunday after a chilly start in most places. Becoming gradually more changeable into next week … Some warm spells in the south at first, with some colder interludes possible, particularly in the north.”

In short, you may see plenty of headlines about a ‘heatwave’ on the way - but it looks like the same rules don’t apply when it comes to our fair city.

Oh well - let’s keep everything crossed for May, Glasgow …
