Bombay Sapphire launch new Bombay Bramble flavoured gin for summer

With the surge in flavoured gins ready for this time of year, Bombay Sapphire are the latest to add a spring edition to the mix - in the form of Bombay Bramble.

Bombay Bramble is available in bars across the country and to buy at Sainsbury's and Tesco for £23 from 13th March, before being rolled out to further supermarkets and convenience stores across the UK from spring onwards.

A first in terms of flavoured gins for the brand, the distilled gin is rich in crimson colour and the flavour to the classic G&T you’d expect.

This bold new gin is packed with delicious flavour and it’s 100% natural thanks to the freshly harvested blackberries and raspberries you’d expect to find in a classic bramble cocktail. Bombay Sapphire classic gin taste has a modern twist on the classic gin taste and no added sugar either.

Add to a serving of tonic, poured over ice and garnished with a squeeze of fresh lemon - is your mouth watering over this or just ours? This is the perfect drink to enjoy (responsibly) and for those of us to love a little zing to our drink.

Ivano Tonutti, Bombay Sapphire Master of Botanicals, commented: “The colour and flavour of Bombay Bramble comes only from botanicals and 100% natural fruit ingredients. The craftsmanship required to create the new gin took time and consideration. Master Distiller Dr. Anne Brock and I worked together to blend our gin with an alcoholic infusion of berries that have been harvested at their ripest moment, resulting in a unique, bold flavour profile.”

Sam Carter, Senior Ambassador at the Bombay Sapphire Laverstoke Mill Distillery, commented: “The launch of Bombay Bramble means we can now offer even the most discerning gin drinkers a sophisticated fruit flavoured gin, whilst maintaining a balanced, premium taste profile that makes it ideal for cocktail creativity. We look forward to gin lovers discovering this new flavour, the bold-berried taste is bursting with natural flavours and is delicious served with tonic and a squeeze of lemon or in a selection of cocktails, with the added benefit of no artificial flavour or colour.”

And Bombay Sapphire aren’t the only ones updating their classic gin with a new twist. Gordon’s Gin has added to the flavour family with the taste of Italy with a zesty Sicilian lemon flavour .

They also have a limited edition white peach flavour which eagle-eyed customers spotted in Asda at £13 along with the new lemon gin.

Aldi have brought back their 'Illusionist' range and created some vodka and gin based liqueurs including a sparkly one that tastes like an English triffle.

One thing's for sure, we won't be lacking in gorgeous gins this summer.
