Emergency crews raced to Kinloss Drive in Cupar after reports of a suspected ordnance in the area at around 10.40am this morning.

Police cordoned off the street while a bomb disposal squad was deployed to inspect the device.

Specialist teams were able to remove the item from the scene a short time later.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Police Scotland was made aware of suspected ordnance found in a garden on Kinloss Drive in Cupar around 10.40am on Thursday, May 7.
