Bojan Miovski Aberdeen transfer resolve to be tested as striker becomes £4m Stade de Reims 'target'

Aberdeen striker Bojan Miovski is a £4million January target for Ligue 1 side Stade de Reims after becoming joint-top scorer in the Scottish Premiership, according to reports in France.

The North Macedonia international took his tally for the season to 12 goals, with 11 of those coming in the league, when he converted from the penalty spot in the narrow 1-0 win over Dundee United at the weekend. That saw him move join Rangers frontman Antonio Colak at the top of the Scottish goal charts with the league campaign put on hold until after the World Cup.

And reports in France have stated Reims have made the 23-year-old their main target when the transfer window reopens after his impressive start to life at Pittodrie. Reims currently sit in mid-table in the French top flight and are desperate to add some firepower to try and push for a European spot next season, but Jim Goodwin will be desperate to keep Miovski in the Granite City as Aberdeen push for third spot.

Reims are set to lose their main striker, Folarin Balogun, who is on loan from Arsenal and will be recalled to the English Premier League leaders in January. They want to replace him with Miovski and have been impressed with the form of the former MTK Budapest forward.

Miovski cost Aberdeen £500,000 and is on a four-year deal with the Scottish Premiership side. He is unlikely to be a cheap option for the French side if they make their move in January.
