A body has been recovered from the River Lee this morning.
A search operation resumed on Thursday following reports on Wednesday night that a woman entered the water in the George's Quay area of Cork City at approximately 10pm.
A body was discovered by a diver shortly before 11am on Thursday morning and was taken from the river by emergency services, Cork Beo reports.
